GT first came into existence as Thad was finishing film school at Columbia College in Chicago.  The first project produced under the GreenTown banner was the short film “Aphasia Ain’t Bad,” lensed by Oscar-winning cinematographer Janusz Kaminski.

After film school and “Aphasia,” Thad developed as a burgeoning corporate writer/producer/director.  Thad’s clients have included Cedars-Sinai Heath Systems, Accenture, Mitsubishi, Kmart, Sears and many more.  He has won a cabal of awards.  And yes, we just used the word cabal.

At the same time, Thad actively pursued his love of writing, receiving several screenwriting honors, including the top honor of the 1997 Illinois Screenwriting Competition and a finalist in the 2000 Competition.

In-house projects are also being continually developed at GreenTown.  Short and feature-length films, TV series, and screenplays are just some of the projects being nurtured to fruition.
